Still Alive & Well

Aside from having a cold, anyway. I've been back in school since August 2010 and plan to complete my BSN degree in early December. I am currently working as a RN in a local assisted living community. It's a great job and I work with a GREAT group of nurses and care staff. Although I'd love to work in a hospital, this has really been a great experience and I've been treated well. I appreciate that! I've been quilting - a little bit. Not enough! I did go on a cruise to Alaska with my sister-in-law, Carol, at the end of May. It was fabulous! We went with a "quilting cruise" group, so we took classes from some wonderful instructors. We met some fabulous and talented ladies, too, which was fun. Our group was known as "the lively ladies" in the dining room at dinner. Need I say again that we had a good time? :*) Hopefully, I'll have/make more time to keep this up in the future. I see myself on my quilty blog more often, but hey - you never know. Keep on keepin' on!
